The Task: supply two blinds 1080 mm wide x 8250 mm drop, and four blinds 640 mm wide x 8250 mm drop.
Such a long drop had to be guided - so the Zip system was ideal.
For the re-wind system SHY used its largest roller - the massive 160 tube - also used for our largest Obscura roller blinds. Only 15 revolutions of the roller was needed - assisting blind stability.
We designed a completely new head box - and components for this job.
Everything was manufactured to strict quality tolerances, and assembled in one day. The installation was completed on time, with control to the motors via radio switches in two groups of three blinds.
